Simple Login Server instructions (Account claiming)

Hi all,

I am new here and a newb on how to login. I have an eqemu account, I have installed titanium, but I don't understand where I create a PEQ account here. When I try to log into EQ at the EQ screen I enter my eqemu account name and password.

What am I missing or doing wrong? Thanks so much for your help!

 

That's exactly what you do to log in the first time. After entering your username and password, select the server (PEQ: the Grand Creation). Create a new character then log in.

If you wish to use PEQ's login server rather EQEmulator's login server, you need to do an additional step. After logging in via EQEmulator's login server, follow the Option D instructions contained in the first post of this thread:

Then you change the eqhosts file to point to the PEQ servers. Those instructions are also found in the first post.

 

Got in, and got that done. Now going to try and change the ephost file! Thank you for the help!

 

this is seriously confusing to me. all I wanna do is log directly into the PEQ server. I've tried everything from converting to claiming and it always says I dont have a valid character or account

 

Did you first log in via EQEmulator and create a character on PEQ?

Was told todo this to get autologin working easier.

I did the claim thing in game got all the message saying done.

now i cant log into any of my accounts due to incorrect password?

please help asap!!

 

right changing the host back to emu one means i can log in again, i tried doing the claim again and still says wrong pw when trying to connect to peqtgc host
